Come to Camp at Rock Point and Explore God’s Amazing and Mysterious Gift of Prayer
" Lord, teach us to pray." (Luke 11:1)

Connections, conversations, journeys, reflections is all that prayer encompasses. This summer at Rock Point, we will spend time with friends, make new ones, and PRAY! Our team of volunteers and resident staff will bring together campers and those around them by engaging them in conversation, reflection and journey based on prayer. These prayers will focus on five biblical texts that show God's people at prayer during their daily lives and will encompass different prayer forms through worship and activities while building self esteem. We can find prayer throughout our day; swimming, talking, playing, and sharing. We can also find it in our quiet times; compline, reflection time, and silence. The journey of prayer and creating the connections that prayer allows us will be an adventure wrapped up in the camp experience. Come pray with us this summer!

Rock Point Summer Conferences are held at the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont’s camp and conference center on the shore of Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont. Campers are involved in a full schedule of activities each day and have many opportunities to develop close and lasting friendships.

The daily schedule includes a thematic educational program, recreation (swimming, hiking, sports, etc.), creative interest groups, and a daily cycle of prayer. Cookouts, special programs and Banquet Night round out the week.

Most of the Bishop Booth Conference Center facilities are available for camp use, including the dining room, the chapel, common rooms of Kerr Hall, the beach at Eagle Bay and Fred’s beach. Campers live in four cabins, each under the direction of a permanent staff counselor. Resident and volunteer staff and their families live in Van Dyck Hall and Butterfield Hall.
