The Chapter has the task of helping the Cathedral respond to the needs and ministries of the Diocese. It sponsors and encourages programs and activities such as an annual lecture series/conference, youth events, musical celebrations and other diocesan and ecumenical programs. The Chapter is composed of the Bishop, the Dean, the Canon to the Ordinary, the Wardens of the Cathedral Vestry and a representative elected by each deanery. The Cathedral parish recently identified strategic priorities which include strengthening its voice and action for social justice, initiating partnerships with its neighbors to meet the changing needs in the Old North End of Burlington, and renewing its role as Diocesan Cathedral.
