From the Burlington Free Press, December 22, 2007— Carolyn Brooks Hill Kerr passed away peacefully following a brief illness on Dec. 20, 2007, with her family members at her side. She was the wife of the Right Reverend Robert Shaw Kerr, seventh bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont who predeceased her in 1988. A celebration of her life was held Saturday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. in the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 2 Cherry St., Burlington. A complete obituary appeared the Dec. 26 Burlington Free Press.
