Presiding Bishop's Forum on Global Poverty and the UN Millennium Development Goals
Bishop Jefferts Schori has
said, “We
cannot speak much in the way of good news to people who are starving
or dying of preventable disease. We must begin by doing good news with
those who are most vulnerable. In and through both, God is glorified,
and all creation can begin to experience the shalom for which we were
created.” Tickets are required to attend the forum. To reserve a ticket, call the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 802-864-0471, email Sarah Gallagher (sarahg@stpaulscathedralvt.org), or fill out the ticket request form below. Clicking on "submit" will create a new message in your email program with the data you put into the form. To finalize your request, simply send the email message. You should receive a response within two days that your request has been received. If an email message addressed to Sarah with the requested information does not appear on your screen, call or email her directly. Tickets will be available for pick up at the Cathedral until 1:00 p.m. November 2. They may also be picked up just before the event at the entrance to Ira Allen Chapel. Because parking is extremely limited in the vicinity of Ira Allen Chapel, shuttle busses will run from the Cathedral to Ira Allen Chapel beginning at 2:30 Friday afternoon. Busses will return to the Burlington Hilton, the location of the social hour and Convention dinner, after the event.
