"What One Can Do — Changing the World" Convention information and schedule We celebrate our 175th Annual Convention November 2-3 at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Burlington. The Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori, 26th Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church will be a featured guest. All are welcome to attend all or parts of Convention, though only elected delegates and clergy may sit on the floor during the business session. Areas are reserved for guests. Tickets for the Convention dinner are available on a first come basis. Use the Convention Registration Form to register for the dinner. The Presiding Bishop's Forum, "What ONE Can Do: Global Poverty and the UN Millennium Development Goals," will be held at Ira Allen Chapel, UVM, on Friday afternoon at 3:30. Tickets will be required. Friday, November 2nd 11:30am – 2:30pm Registration Saturday, November 3rd 8:00am – 10:30am Registration Convention Exhibits will be open Friday, November 2nd from noon until end of day and on Saturday, November 3rd from 8am until 10am *Convention 101 – A workshop first time delegates have found very useful but open to everyone. The workshop leaders explain what delegates can expect to happen on and off the Convention floor. Legislative procedures, how to amend a resolution, and what we will be voting on and how we will vote are just a few of the topics covered.
