Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori traveled on Sunday, November
4, to St. Paul's, Windsor, where she preached and presided at the 10
am Eucharist. After a pot-luck brunch, she went to the Southern State
Correctional Facility in Springfield, where she offered Eucharist for
a group of 18 residents plus staff members and a prison ministry team.

and the Rev. Sherry Osborn of St. Mark's, Springfield, with the
Presiding Bishop after the Eucharist at Southern State Correctional
Facility. Dave Shuffleburg heads the prison ministry team that
has been active at the facility since its opening, and he arranged
for the Presiding Bishop's visit. |
